Tourism DevelopmentVisitor Surveys
In partnership with local visitor committees, the Rural Initiative sponsored surveys in Nemaha and Jefferson Counties, and in an eleven-county region in western Nebraska. Designed to help communities promote local attractions and improve tourism offerings and customer service, these surveys included training in research strategies for members of the local hospitality industry, a report on visitor activities and perceptions, and access to ongoing consultation with University of Nebraska faculty members. |
