Vast amounts of information are available to people working in rural development. This section of the Rural Initiative website offers a searchable database of web sites devoted to rural issues, a matrix of rural development programs operating in Nebraska, and a clickable map of broadband internet access in Nebraska, Also in this section is a collection of almost 100 Nebraska maps covering a wide array of subjects.
The Rural Initiative has also collected twenty links to newsletters from rural development organizations in Nebraska, the midlands, and across the nation. Click here to access these links.
Randy Cantrell, Rural Sociologist for the University of Nebraska Rural Initiative joined with a team of UNL researchers to study in-migration to the Nebraska panhandle.
